Market Day

My stall at the Cabarlah Markets today was a huge success. I sold out of everything before the market had finished and I am already planning for next month. The white chocolate lamingtons sold out first and the cookie pops were a big hit with the kids.

There are only a few more days to go now until my first stall at the Cabarlah Markets. I am still trying to decide what to take with me but I will post a full list with prices when I have figured it out and if my computer allows me too (it's being a real pain in the a%$).

Cookie Pops

I will be selling these at my stall at the markets in two weeks time, but I had to trial them to make sure they worked out well which they did and they taste really good. Something yummy and sugar free for the kiddies.

Pretty Cupcakes

These cupcakes were made for my mum and her quilting/stitching group. They get together every second Tuesday to stitch, eat and cackle, not necessarily in that order, and every year they go away for a weekend of fun and frivolity. This year they are going to Ravensbourne which is just north of Toowoomba and you can't have a girls weekend without cupcakes.

Or as they are known in my house a boucake. It was made for a friends 30th birthday over the weekend. Cupcakes were chocolate with white chocolate ganache and vanilla with dark chocolate ganache. There are also roses choccies on skewers to make it look more full.

These cupcakes were made for a cupcake bouquet for my sister's friend's 30th birthday. I'll post pics of the finished product soon.

Winter In The Park

I had some spare time this afternoon between dropping off a cake and picking up dinner (chinese, yum) and I had my camera with me so I went to Queens Park and took some piccies. In a couple of months time, September to be exact, the flower beds that are now empty will be brimming with gorgeous blooms from, Tulips to Pansies, Poppies to Snapdragons, Sweetpeas to Roses and a whole heap of others (even some coloured bark) for the annual Carnival of Flowers.
