I've been busy baking today for the market this weekend. Here are the raspberry bottom brownies and mars bar crispies. I really should get back to it, still have a lot to do.

Pistachio and White Chocolate

It was market day again today and although it was a bit chilly there was a good crowd that showed up and the rain managed to stay away up until now. It was a very successful day for me again I sold almost everything except for a few cookies but that's ok because they won't last long in my house. The kids cupcake station was the most popular and seeing all the kids faces when they got to design their own cupcake and then eat it was great. Once again the white choc lamingtons were the first to go followed closely by the cookies and cream slice, I even had to sell my sample lamingtons so I will have to make a lot more next time (4 boxes were already pre sold before I had even got there). The stall across the way from me sells strawberries by the punnet so next time I will have chocolate dipping sauce for sale where you will be able to try samples from his stall and buy them from mine and I think that will be very popular although you may have to get in early because he sells out pretty quickly.

Market time again

This weekend is the Cabarlah Markets and I will be off again with my family of helpers. The White Choc Jam filled Lamingtons, Cookie pops, Cupcakes, Big Fat Triple Choc Cookies, Cookies and Cream Slice and Melting Moments will be there as well as some new additions, Jam Drops, Rocky Road Brownies as well as The Kids Cupcake Station where kids can design their own cupcake. They start with a kid size vanilla cupcake then choose what colour frosting they would like and then what colour sprinkles and last of all the cupcake topper which will be a selection of lollies they can choose from. They weather man predicted a maximum of 13 degrees and rain on Sunday, cross our fingers and hope he is wrong.

Fiddling with Fondant

I have been wanting to make my own fondant for a while now so that's what I did today. I made flowers and some cut out shapes nothing too fancy. It was a lot easier than I thought, however the colouring got a little bit messy. I think I will have blue fingertips for a while.

When I am not baking I like to indulge in my other favourite thing, Jigsaw puzzles. As you can see I have quite a few (this isn't even all of them). Most of them are Thomas Kinkade puzzles. He is a painter of light and most of them are old style cottages, my fave. I would love to have one of his real paintings.

Market Day

My stall at the Cabarlah Markets today was a huge success. I sold out of everything before the market had finished and I am already planning for next month. The white chocolate lamingtons sold out first and the cookie pops were a big hit with the kids.
