What a weekend

The Geham craft market over the weekend was a huge success. I sold all but two boxes of cupcakes from a total of 38. I had made 26 boxes originally but with the threat of a sellout by 1pm saturday it was a mad dash after I got home from work to make some more and thankyou to Lynette for your comments I am glad you enjoyed them. Now to do it all again this weekend for the Cabarlah Markets and then definitely a few days relaxation up the coast are in order.

Spring in the Park

Remember Winter in the Park? Well those photos were taken just over 3 months ago, now the beds are blooming and the bees are buzzing.

Spring has Sprung

The Spring in the Country craft market is this weekend and I have finally decided on what cupcakes to make. They will be available in assorted boxes of 6 for $12.






Classic vanilla with two tone vanilla buttercream dotted with musk flavoured fondant flowers

Classic Vanilla with lemon curd filling and lemon buttercream

Gingerbread with cream cheese frosting drizzled with maple syrup

Choc mud dipped in choc ganache

Choc mud dipped in choc ganache then swirled mint buttercream topped with a mint chocolate

Jaffa choc mud cake dipped in choc ganache then swirled orange buttercream topped with crushed jaffas.

All boxes tied with bright spring time ribbons.

Purple Passion

As I was pottering around the yard today, actually I was chasing chickens but that's a whole other story, I noticed that we have an abundance of purple at the moment which inspired me to make a new cupcake. Purple passion is a lavender scented vanilla cupcake with purple buttercream.

Geham Craft Market

With the Carnival of Flowers here in Toowoomba just over two weeks away, it is time to start getting organised for the Geham Craft Market that same weekend where I will be selling my cupcakes and cupcake aprons. Cupcakes will be sold in boxes of six assorted flavours, each wrapped tightly with ribbons. Still deciding on what flavours to make but I'll keep you posted.

Chocolate anyone?

While shopping for dad's fathers day pressie today I quickly hopped into Canterbury Lace to have a look and found the gorgeous flip recipe book combining two of my favourite things, chocolate and cooking. I think the mud pie is first on my list to make.

How cute are these. They have been in the making for a couple of weeks now but are finally finished (thanks mum). I sold the pink stripey one at the market on Sunday but there are plenty more where these came from in various colours and styles.
